Neal Postman Published Amusing Ourselves to Death almost four decades ago.
The book, in and of itself, was amazing when I read it in 1985, and still is a valued read.
I do not know if Mr Postman professes faith, but an observation he made in the book is true. It's implication was important in 1985; it is vital now.
Here is the quotation:
"I believe I am not mistaken in saying that Christianity is a demanding and serious religion. When it is delivered as easy and amusing, it is another kind of religion altogether."
Read it again; and consider passing it on.
